Target audience research


This is my Target audience Research, I went around and asked various people what they thought when they think of Fantasy movies and what they would expect to see. I had positive feedback and negative feedback. 


I think this helped me think about my film and to they and use some of their opinion in my film to make sure that when viewers watch my film they will know straight away that it is a fantasy movie. 

The new script


I know im not alone. (..) They say there is  much bigger creaturs that lurk in the forest. (..)Myths of children disappearing from their beds when they were asleep. (..) Children misbehaving were told that they would be given to the forest.  Many villagers have spoken of coming across  animals shredded to pieces. (..) From limb. (..) To limb. I feel safe in this forest for some reason. But I always feel I’m being watched. (..) I’ve seen things. Walking through here. Animals far bigger and faster than any deer. (..) They move swiftly through the trees. They know there way around here. Like me. But like me they like to be left alone. (..) I don’t know what they are but they don’t want to be found.  (..) they know when I’m here. They all know when I’m here. (scream)

When I did the script of what she was going to say I thought it was rather long so I shortened it so that it fitted the film. I think this was far better than the other script because I didnt htink of the timing and the other script was more for a film that if I had 5 minutes so I had to shorten it for 2 minutes and I prefered this as this was in the orginal script but the 3rd section.

Thinking twice about the script and changing it had shown that I have thought about this and to make the film better. It also shows my progression through the creating of the film because I thought about one thing at the beginnong of the film and through changes and situations that have occured I have slightly altered what my original idea and how I have overcome it.

I didnt use this clip in my film because as you can see I didn't use a tripod which made the camcorder very shaky and jolty which I didnt want in my film. I wanted to have my character in view but she is blurred because the focuse of the camcorder is on the background so she wasn't in focus at all. I didnt use clips like this because this didnt work with the film and I wanted to make my film as professional looking as possble.

from doing this I was able to look at this when looking at other clips and making sure that my footage wasn't moving alot and was in focus. This helped me look out for mistakes that I haven't noticed and to think from a audience point of view because I noticed stuff more if i pretend I never seen the film and was to improve my film.
